SKILLS CHALLENGE DAY 2015

This year we had an amazing seventy entries from thirty-five members and the quality and sheer variety was breathtaking … none of us envied our judge, Alison Daykin, who was faced with difficult choices in all categories.

The list of winners, with Alison’s comments, can be downloaded here but the following photographs give some idea of the breadth of talent, expertise and ingenuity of our members.
50g Challenge: this was one of the most popular categories and submissions included accessories, felted items, garlands and toys.  Participating Guild members were given 50g of Exmoor Horn x BFL top from John Arbon and set off to see where their fancy led them ... who knew that so many different projects could be made with so little fibre?!
